A set of 203mm (8 inches) Stainless Steel Body Mecanum Wheel (4 pieces) with Bearing Rollers – 14138

The set of (8 inches) 203mm stainless steel mecanum wheels is a heavy-duty wheel with two right and two left wheels. Each wheel is comprised of 12 nylon rollers mounted so that their axis of rotation is 45 degrees to the axis of the main wheel.

Like conventional wheels, the stainless steel mecanum wheel moves forward and backward. However, it also allows sideways movement by spinning wheels on the front and rear axles in opposite directions.

The wheel is heavy-duty, and it is sold in assembled units with aluminum and two thick steel plates. The rollers are made of white nylon, and the stainless steel body mecanum wheels’ load capacity is higher than that of the aluminum mecanum wheel.
